It will be necessary to close A291 Herne Street, Herne from 20th August 2024 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed at 4 Church Cottages.
The alternative route is via A291 Herne Street, Canterbury Road, Calcott Hill, Herne Bay Road, Sturry Hill, A28 Island Road, Staines Hill, Island Road, St Nicholas Roundabout, A299 Thanet Way, A291 Canterbury Road and vice versa.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 06:00 hrs.
This is to enable water pipe repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
