Urgent Road Closure – A2990 Thanet Way, Whitstable – 23rd August 2024
It will be necessary to close A2990 Thanet Way, Whitstable from 23rd August 2024 for up to 2 nights.
The road will be closed at between Speedwell Road and Church Lane in the South Westerly direction only.
The alternative route is via A2990 Thanet Way, B2205 Borstal Hill, Joy Lane, Faversham Road and Church Lane. Any vehicles that are unable to navigate the width restriction in Church Lane will be safely escorted through site.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs each night.
This is to enable carriageway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.
