Mickleburgh Hill, Herne Bay will be closed to through traffic, on or after 2nd April 2025 for up to 1 night.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Talmead and Reculver Road.
The alternative route is via:
Southbound- Mickleburgh Hill, B2205 Canterbury Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate
Road.
Northbound- Margate Road, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road – South of
Thanet Way, A299 Thanet Way, A291 Canterbury Road, B2205 Canterbury Road,
Mickleburgh Hill.
This closure is necessary to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent
County Council.
