To protect the woodland and create habitats Curtis Wood has had a deadwood hedge put in, this creates areas of woodland where the ground is able to regenerate. Unfortunately last week someone has removed over 50 of these uprights further on in the wood so the hedge has collapsed.
This will now have to be re done by the Kentish Stour Countryside Partnership, taking up valuable time and expense.
