Distraction Burglary

If you have carers arriving that you do not know or recognise you do not have to let them in and can check with the company first to ensure you have the details of who is arriving to complete care packages. No reputable company would mind you doing this first. Please look out for each other and neighbours.**

Detectives investigating a distraction burglary in Herne Bay have released CCTV images of two people who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Kent Police received a report that a property on King’s Road was targeted shorty after 2pm on Thursday 25 September 2025.

Jewellery missing
Two women entered the residence after allegedly claiming to be carrying out medical services.

The occupant spent time with the pair inside the property before the women left around 15 minutes later. Gold jewellery was later reported to be missing.

Officers attended and initial enquiries were completed.

Investigators have now released CCTV images of women they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, since they may have important information.
