Kent County Council – Emergency Road Closure – Station Road, St George’s Terrace & Pier Avenue, Herne Bay

It will be necessary to close Station Road, St George’s Terrace & Pier Avenue, Herne Bay from 23rd October 2023 for up to 20 days.

The road will be closed at Pier Avenue between Central Parade and the junction with St Georges Terrace/ Station Road.

The alternative route is via:

Pier Avenue (closure) – Central Parade, Lane End, St George’s Terrace or Avenue Road back to Pier Avenue.

Station Road (closure) – Station Road and Central Parade.

St Georges Terrace (closure) – Oxenden Street, Avenue Road or St Georges Terrace and Central Parade.

This is to enable carriageway resurfacing to be carried out by Kent County Council.
