South East Water – Emergency Road Closure – Sweechbridge Road, Herne Bay

23rd October 2023 (Canterbury)

It will be necessary to close Sweechbridge Road, Herne Bay from 23rd October 2023 for up to 4 days.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Windrush.

The alternative route is via:

Northbound – Sweechbridge Road, Heart In Hand Road, A299 Thanet Way, Margate Road, Margate Road Interchange, Mickleburgh Hill and Reculver Road.

Southbound – Reculver Road, Margate Road, A299 Thanet Way, Heart In Hand Road, May Street and Sweechbridge Road.

This is to enable burst water main repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
