Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Make The Right Call Campaign.

Make the Right Call to save time and lives

In the last three years, our crews have attended more than 300 water-related incidents across the county, which sadly includes 23 deaths.

Many water-related incidents are accidental, and every second counts in getting the right emergency service to the scene as quickly as possible.

That’s why we’ve relaunched our Make The Right Call campaign – to make sure people in Kent and Medway know which emergency service to ask for in an emergency.

Inland river – Kent
For inland water
Like rivers and lakes – people should call 999 and ask for the fire service.

Seaside – Kent
For rescues at sea
On the coast or seaside – call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
