NHS 111 First Communications
A message from Kent and Medway CCG.
NHS 111 First project will be a key priority for us during 2021. We’ll be aiming to increase resident’s understanding that for urgent, non-emergency treatment the 111 service should be their first point of contact.
By directing residents to 111 we’ll be able to reduce the number of non-emergency visits to our A&E’s services.
We’re currently planning a regional campaign, which is due to start in June/July
The Bank Holiday period is always a busy time for our A&E’s, so we are hoping to reach as many people as possible.
