KCC have just advised:
Emergency Road Closure – Shalloak Road, Broad Oak – 1st October 2023 (Canterbury)
It will be necessary to close Shalloak Road, Broad Oak from 1st October 2023 for up to 3 days.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of 10 Broad Oak Lodge.
The alternative route is via Shalloak Road, Vauxhall Road, A28 Sturry Road, Mill Road, A291 Sturry Hill, Herne Bay Road, Sweechgate and vice versa.
This is to enable burst water main repairs to be carried out by South East Water.
