Temporary Road Closures – Margate Road, Herne & Bogshole Lane, Herne Bay- from 15th April 2026, with estimated completion by 16th June 2026.
Due to works planned to be undertaken by SGN, it will be necessary to close part of Margate Road, Herne & Bogshole Lane, Herne Bay.
Margate Road will be closed from 15th April 2026, with estimated completion by 16th June 2026 between the junction with Bogshole Lane and number 17-52 Margate Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for through traffic is via Margate Road, Margate Road Interchange, Margate Road, Mickleburgh Hill, Reculver Road, Sweechbridge Road, Heart In Hand Road and vice versa.
