It will be necessary to close Margate Road, Herne from 2nd April 2026 for up to 9 days.
The road will be closed outside 159-161 Margate Road, Herne.
The alternative route is via Margate Road, Margate Interchange, Margate Road, Reculver Road, Reculver Lane, Sweechbridge Road, Heart in Hand Road and vice versa.
This is to enable high voltage cable repairs to be carried out by UK Power Networks.
