Urgent Road Closure – A299 Thanet Way, Yorkletts, Graveney & Hernhill – Coastbound only – 9th October 2023 (Canterbury and Swale)
It will be necessary to close A299 Thanet Way, Yorkletts, Graveney & Hernhill – Coastbound only from 9th October 2023 for up to 1 night.
The road will be closed between Brenley Corner and Dargate Services.
The alternative route is via Brenley Corner Roundabout, A2 Boughton ByPass, A2 Dover Road, Harbledown Slip Eastbound Off, Harbledown ByPass, Palmars Cross Hill, Rough Common Road, Whitstable Road, Tile Kiln Hill, Blean Hill, Blean Common, Honey Hill, Pean Hill, Clapham Hill, A2990 Thanet Way and A299 Thanet Way on Slip East bound.
It is planned that the road will be closed between 20:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs.
This is to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.
